Trail Overview

This road leaves Hickory Nut Road at the west end and the east end stops at Crystal Springs Resort entrance. Across the main road is a public boat ramp with restrooms and great views of Lake Ouachita. There are nice dispersed campsites along this road. Awesome creek-side camping and group-sized dispersed campsites make this a must-see area. About the midways of this road is a pipe spring. You can not miss this roadside attraction as you travel this road. The Lake Ouachita Vista Trail is along this section of the road.

Trail is easy with a lot of beautiful views Hickory nut mountain lookout is a must see if you come in from the east it’s difficult from the west easy also nice campground on top of hickory nut mountain
