Trail Overview
H18 features a short but steep climb scattered with medium-sized boulders, making it a fun and technical challenge for more experienced drivers. The Park rates this as a 4-Diamond trail, but a 3-Diamond bypass is available nearby via H17 for those looking for an easier alternative. At the top, the trail rewards you with a beautiful overlook in both directions of the surrounding area--including a view of the newly constructed highway below and sweeping power lines stretching for miles across the horizon. This trail is located on the 400-Side of Hot Springs Off-Road Park. A Park Day-Use Trail Pass is required to access this system of trails. Cell service is spotty in places, and trail conditions can change quickly, especially during rainy or winter seasons when traction and visibility may be reduced.
