Trail Overview
Eerie Rocks Trail is a very special trail in this area. You will notice when you turn onto the trail that there is a sign put up next to one of the cemeteries talking about the protection act that protect the special artifacts along this area. Going forward you will find yourself getting into very tight and narrow trail, and you will also notice a major shift in terrain type. The terrain goes from pine needle covered road to a ledge rock trail. Continue and you will notice larger rocks. Farther down the trail it will become more difficult and you can expect body damage or damage to skid plates and sliders. You will need to negotiate large rocks, ledges, and very off camber sections while heading downhill. There is a spot to turn around before this area if you decide not to go down this harder portion of the trail as there is no bypass. The name for this trail is based off the very Eerie feeling you get when going through this trail.
Difficulty
The start of this trail is more approachable, but the further you go, the harder it gets. The end of this trail has very large boulders that are taller than a 35 inch tire and above axle height. Be very prepared to receive body damage, skid plate damage, or slider damage as there is no bypass for this section. This trail also gets extremely tight on certain area so you need to expect body damage past pin striping. Large sticks that will put deeper grooves into your paint.
