Woody Ridge - FS 535B

This trail begins on the west end in a massive open meadow before eventually entering the forest. Early on, you’ll encounter some deeper washouts that can create off-camber situations, though most have workable drive-arounds. The road is primarily dirt with scattered rocks, but as you gain elevation onto the ridge, it becomes noticeably rockier with larger exposed rocks that slow progress. The climb up onto the ridge adds a bit of challenge, and the trail remains rough as it continues before eventually dead-ending at a locked gate at the boundary of state trust land. It’s unclear whether the gate is ever opened.
