Trail Overview

This is a trail that takes you from the Needle Rock recreation area up along a beautiful ridge into the heart of the Desert Vista OHV area. This section is between Forest Road on the east, and Trail 2123 on the west. This is a trail that is used by the local Jeep Tour company to demonstrate the beauty of the desert southwest and includes some interesting climbing sections, along with rocky obstacles and plenty of "whoops" to bounce over. The views on the north side of the trail looking towards the Mazatzal Mountains are stunning.

Difficulty

The trail is mostly pretty level and wide, but there are sections that include steep climbs and rocky sections that require you to choose an appropriate line to navigate properly.
