Trail Overview
Trail Ss1063 is a connector trail that runs through a natural wash toward Zss1531 from Artesia Road, or vice versa expect sandy gravel, scattered dirt walls, and dead trees lining the wash. Livestock in the wash were observed. The route is easy in dry conditions, but some areas benefit from high-clearance 2WD or 4WD. The path appears to continue across Artesia and Tanque Roads toward Highway 191 on the map. However, BLM markers at the Tanque Road entrances indicate no off-road vehicles permitted in either direction. No similar closure signs were found at the Artesia or ZSS1531 access points. Always verify current conditions and posted regulations before proceeding.
