Trail Overview

This is a nice little drive in the forest--nothing technical. Ski Hi is accessible by high-clearance cars. There are beautiful pines and awesome starry night skies in the late spring/summer! The roads are usually passable in the snow but not always. A few tanks along the way may bring some wildlife to your vision. Have fun. Drive safe!

Difficulty

Most of this is graded forest access roads. Take caution in your 2WD vehicle if you go off on side tracks, as it can get rocky and muddy.

lots of offshoots off the road, some were very rutted out, tons of camping spots, if it's dry none of this would be a problem, I could see it being a mud pit when it rains, the US Forest service has also been culling trees so the woods are a little thinned out too

Great ride to the forest. We started on Ski Hi to Turkey Mountain trail then proceeded on Marshall Mountain trail. We basically did the loop. After Marshall Mountain we took Country Rd 3144 to 182, that took us back where we started. The road was muddy in parts and dry in others. A great ride! Would love to go again at dusk for a dark ride! Enjoy!
