Trail Overview

North Pump Station Road is part of Ironwood Forest National Monument and Arizona State Trust Land. This road can be used to complete the long Silverbell Loop around the mountain. It is a smooth well graded dirt road with washboards in some areas and deep rolling washes. There are signs this area will become soft and muddy after heavy rains. Lots of dispersed camping opportunities along the North end of this road.

This was a side trip before heading to the Silverbell Sasco loop. Simple road. Can do this short road in any vehicle.

Very easy trail that could be done in basically any vehicle you're willing to get covered in dust. A few washboarded spots, but very smooth for the most part. Great camping options along the northern mile of the trail.

This is a wide dirt road with a lot of washboard. It was dark when we drove on it so there wasn't a whole lot to see. Will try it again in daylight.
