Trail Overview
This is a moderate ATV trail that connects Forest Service Road 705 to 21 (West Camp Wood Road). There is a 50-inch pinch point on the south end, and then it follows a fence line on a narrow track between scrub oak bushes. The trail is chunky and rutted, with loose round baby head rocks filling in the center of the ruts. The trail will also feel somewhat narrow for ATVs between the bushes, and it looks like it is more commonly trafficked by dirt bikes. It climbs for the first mile on a semi-steep grade, followed by a mild descent to reach the north end. On the north end, it goes through more of a forested area full of ponderosa pines, but part of it is a burn area with a few logs down. Expect continuous loose rocks in the trail for the entire 1.7 miles.
Difficulty
This is an intermediate route due to steep and rocky sections that are more ideal for experienced ATV riders. The narrowness also contributes to the difficulty for ATV riders, as it will feel very tight between the bushes.
