Trail Overview

Hs38I is a fun wash ride featuring a mix of loose rock and sand. Access from the “Up Over” trail requires a short descent that includes loose rocks and small rock ledges, so use caution when entering. Once in the wash, riders will encounter sections of deep sand along the edges that can catch you off guard. Scattered throughout are larger rocks—some up to about 12 inches—requiring careful line selection. The wash is generally rideable for ATVs and motorcycles and offers multiple line choices depending on rider preference. The trail is lined with large boulders that give it a distinctive character, but riders should also watch for low-hanging thorny branches. About halfway through, the wash becomes more overgrown and harder to follow, so staying alert to the best available line is important. Eventually, the trail opens into a wider wash and reconnects with “Up Over” to the south
