Trail Overview

Hs03I features a steep, rocky drop into a wash and a challenging climb back out when approached from the Up and Over Green Trail. The area is heavily eroded, with rock ledges, off-camber sections, and multiple line choices for making the climb out of the wash. Recent rains have created small V-notches in the trail, leaving narrow high sides that can be difficult to ride. Loose rocks increase the risk of sliding off these elevated sections, so careful line selection is important. Overhanging branches are present in some wash areas. The trail also includes numerous rocky dry-wash crossings with both small and large loose rocks. Riders should pick their lines carefully, especially on a bike. Beyond the washes, the trail opens into wider road sections with scattered loose rock.
