Trail Overview

This trail is a 12-mile loop that can be done in either direction. There is plenty of challenging terrain and sweet views. You will pass through about a half dozen gates to open and close. Trail gets tight and narrow in some spots. Long wheel base trucks will be tuff for them at some of the washed out spots. The difficulty level is moderate and flash flooding is possible in this area.

Trail has two gates you have to open and close to continue. One at the start and one about 1/4 the way through the trail. We started counter clockwise coming from Apache Trail/lake area. Very narrow trail as you get near the halfway mark. Lots of pinstripping on my Rubicon. Right about halfway when it narrows even more, the trail is washed out about 4’ long and 3.5’ deep. We tried to pile rock and sticks but the lean towards the drivers side was a bit out of my comfort zone, especially with our pup and 4 year old with us. There’s two sections like this in the wash. One mentioned above and another 25’ ahead of it. We ended up doing a 100 point turn that took 45 min to get facing the way we came. Great trail and super fun with some awesome obstacle’s. Great trail……..pretty easy in the SXS but would take longer in a truck as there are a couple of small sections that you have to pick your line. Just really enjoyable with some great views

Great ride ! Nice roads with some challenges. You get a view of everything. Canyons , mountains , copper mine, cactus and pine tree! Some water not much . Challenges are moderate and short .
