FS 9K

Forest Service Road 9K is approximately one mile long and travels north to south through open meadows. Early on, you’ll pass through a gate that must be closed behind you. Beyond the gate, the trail begins with a mildly rocky surface covered in grass. As you continue south, larger loose rocks and deeper ruts become more common along the route. The trail also crosses a fairly rocky dry wash before becoming increasingly faint and difficult to follow, especially when the grass is overgrown and thick. The route eventually ends at a Forest Service gate marking the end of the trail.
