Trail Overview
FS 418 is a narrow, north-to-south point-to-point two-track that climbs and descends through dense pine and aspen forest. Expect standing water and muddy conditions after rain, with 4WD potentially necessary when wet. The trail eventually climbs onto a shelf road with a ledge along the west side and a few rutted sections near the top. Use caution with speed and wheel placement, and watch for oncoming traffic on the narrow sections.
