FS 3553

FS 3553 is a wide, natural dirt two-track that winds through pine forests and aspen groves. The trail gently descends, then climbs over rolling hills, with a mix of open ridge sections and shaded stretches beneath the pine canopy. Follow the well-established bypass that provides an easy way around a very old, huge tree. After passing the tree, watch for the left curve to stay on the correct route. The trail S-curves through the forest and offers a peaceful ride with plenty of scenery. Did not find any technical sections in dry conditions, making this a nice trail to explore.
