FS 257E

Trail NF257E is a rutted dirt road with no technical obstacles, making it suitable for most high clearance 2WD or 4WD vehicles. About a mile in, the trail narrows with overgrown trees and brush, weaving through a thick forest of tall pines that makes the drive especially scenic. It follows a tight path along the side of a hill before quickly ending at the top of a cliff. There’s a solid turnaround spot at the end, making it a short but beautiful out-and-back forest drive.
