Buzzard Tank Trail

This 3.5-mile out-and-back trail takes you up to Buzzards Tank, which gives you a great overlook of the Verde River. This is a technical trail that requires a modified vehicle, recommend 33" tires and a 2" lift minimum. Good for beginner to intermediate off-roaders. This trail is only open from 1 October to 1 April. You will see several signs indicating a locked gate ahead. This gate is at Buzzards Tank and there is an area large enough for two vehicles to turn around.
