Trail Overview

This trail is open to unlicensed vehicles, but be sure to stay on the designated routes. Offtrail riding has put this trail in threat of closure. Bulldog Canyon has been maintained, but it is difficult to anticipate the shape of of it due to erosion. You will need a special, free permit to access this trail. The permit will contain a combination to unlock the gates. Camping is available in a few areas along the way.

Difficulty

Easy: A few steep spots with minor ruts. Suitable for any 4-wheeldrive SUV on the day we drove it.

Access Description

This trail has five entrances, all with locked gates. We choose to enter via the Blue Point Entrance off Bush Highway, located 1.7 miles east of Usury Pass Road.
