Trail Overview

This scenic off-road trail begins off Cow Creek Road and offers an engaging mix of terrain and desert views. Shortly after starting, you'll enter a wash area that leads into a v-notch wash—a narrow and potentially tricky section that can cause vehicle tipping for less experienced drivers. Stay alert and proceed with caution, especially in this part of the trail. As you continue, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views of the Arizona desert landscape. Keep an eye out for the iconic Arizona Burro, often spotted along this route. Further along, the trail offers a stunning vantage point overlooking Lake Pleasant to the south—perfect for a quick photo stop or break. The trail covers BLM and State Trust Land.
