Trail Overview

This remote off-road trail begins just off Highway 1 and leads to the quiet, tucked-away pueblo of Santa Fe. The route starts with a harsh, heavily corrugated surface where airing down your tires significantly will make a big difference in ride comfort. While the main road can be punishing early on, there's often a parallel two-track option that's slightly smoother and may be preferable for smaller vehicles. Around the two-thirds mark, the road gradually improves, becoming smoother and more scenic as it winds through the landscape. The trail ultimately delivers you to the peaceful village of Santa Fe, a charming spot with just a few homes and a small, picturesque church.
