Mount Cheam Trailhead

The road surface is mostly gravel and is primarily one lane wide. There are a few slopes with some loose gravel, but in general the road is in good condition. The road has sections of shelf road, but the road is wide enough that it is not an issue. Many steep water bars will be a challenge for anything less than an SUV. Stock SUVs will need to have decent approach and departure angles to avoid scraping. There is a large parking area at the top for access to the hiking trails up Mount Cheam. The views on the way up and back down are excellent.
