Francis Lake Back Entry

This is a gravel forest road that leads to Francis Lake on the back side from Weaver Lake. The route climbs gradually, with one section reaching a grade of up to 13%. The road is narrow but offers occasional areas for vehicles to pass. Overall, this is an easy road that has minor washboarding and is suitable for any vehicle type. The views along the route are of dense forest, but then it opens up over the lake where there are multiple campsites. There are no amenities, and cell phone service is weak at best, so travel prepared with all needed supplies.
