Wind & Weather for Upland Bird
Use case examples to help you get the most out of the App’s wind and weather information.
Choose your best entry point.
Use the current wind direction to locate a starting point that allows you to walk into the wind.
For example, with a northwest wind, enter from the southeast corner of the property. This setup brings bird scent toward you and your dog from the start, helping detect birds early in the hunt.
From there, adapt your path as needed, maintaining awareness of wind shifts to maintain scent advantages whenever possible.

Monitor forecasts for ideal weather.
Check forecasts across locations to know when the weather is prime for your target species (and your personal preferences).
Different birds respond to specific weather, and with real-time insights on wind, temperature, and precipitation, you can focus on the right spots on the right day.
