Chorizo Loop

From the parking area, head south toward Lily Pond and follow the History Trail. Continue on the History Trail to the southeastern portion of the park, and stay right when you reach the intersection to continue on the Beech Tree Trail. Continue along the perimeter of the park onto the Footprint Trail, eventually turning right when you come across the short State Symbols Trail. This short detour eventually brings you back to a wooden bridge, and the trail then proceeds between Lily Pond and Spring Pond, ultimately bringing you back to the starting point.

Dr. Victor Reinstein was a dedicated conservationist who bought this land privately in 1932. Upon his death in the 1984, the land was donated to New York State.
