Loop
Of course, you can drive to the summit, but if you're looking to get a bit of a hike in, then park in the lot on the north side of Hwy-101. The area is quite popular and the trails are well-traveled and maintained. However, they can be quite rocky and rooty, so take your time so as not to lose your footing or trip.Take the Wapack Trail through the forest to the summit. Once you reach the summit (watch for cars) take your time exploring the area. There is a picnic area up top if you want to pack a lunch, as well as a fire tower that affords some amazing views. On the way back, take Marion Davis Trail to switch things up. It can be rocky and rooty so watch for tripping hazards.
