Point to Point
This moderate trail starts with a crossing of a rocky stream a few yards wide (in early spring). The first 0.8 miles is mostly uphill on a narrow, curving switchback trail. There is shade about 75% of the time, and frequent boulders to sit on. A lot of interesting rocks: layered, sparkly, etc.; and wildflowers along the way. You'll also enjoy a panoramic view of the valley. After about 0.8 miles from the trailhead, the trail heads downhill. Parking is about 0.3 miles from the trailhead, with paid campsites being closer.
