There are no bridges located at the stream crossings; you'll have to ford the Quackenkill, below the Dunham Reservoir dam.
Path Type
Point to Point
This trail starts from the trailhead, off Dunham Road. It heads northeast, following along the causeway. The trail turns left and crosses over the Quackenkill, just below the dam. The maps list this area as impassable, but it can be easily crossed by either rock-hopping or fording the stream.
Avoid crossing here, during periods of heavy rainfall or high water, though. It travels through a Hemlock forest, before coming to the inlet for the reservoir. Once again, there is no bridge here; you'll have to ford the stream. From here, there are red blazes, marking the trail. The trail closely follows along the northwestern shore of the Dunham Reservoir. It ends when it reaches the boat launch, at Johnson Road.
