Description
Hikers can opt to hike as much or as little of the Truman Gulch Trail as they like and then either turn around when they feel like it, or for the intrepid walker, continue along the Bridger Foothills Trail and connect with Corbly Gulch, Middle Cottonwood, Sypes Canyon, or The College M Trail. This popular trailhead often has cars aplenty at the base, but much of the traffic stays in the first mile. Regardless of how far you wish to walk the trail is a good workout and climbs steadily halfway up the mountain range. Keep an eye open for fast-moving mountain bikers who enjoy careening downhill on this particularly fun trail. The route brings hikers across a babbling brook, into mountain meadows, and past large coniferous trees. Keep your eyes open for the occasional deer and small game as you enjoy a hike in the woods close to town.
