Description
This trail starts from the parking area, off Dort Road, and travels through a field. It passes through a treeline, then connects with a snowmobile trail. It crosses over a bridge, then takes a right turn. These trails travel together, for a ways, to Lily Pond Connector (on the left). When you reach the snowmobile bridge (just after Lily Pond Connector), follow the brook upstream to see Lily Brook Falls. Continuing on, the trail comes out to the powerlines, and follows these. It turns right (towards the reservoir), and follows along it's edge. Shortly, after passing by the dam, the snowmobile trail leaves left. Surry Mountain Lake Trail continues until it reaches East Surry Road.
