The Benson Railroad Trail is a great little trail in the middle of Cache Valley in Northern Utah. It's named for the old bridge that you will cross which is a great place to set up for fishing, or bow fishing. It makes a loop around part of Cutler Reservoir and provides great views of the Wellsville Mountains, and the many birds who live in the Cutler Marsh. The trail is open year round and the types of birds you see fluctuates a lot with the seasons. The trail starts out as a gravel path with several great spots to set up for fishing. It soon turns east and follows an old railroad grade that now houses power lines and can become pretty overgrown in summer.
