Description
The trail is around 2.5 miles in length when starting from the parking area and has an elevation gain of 1100 ft. The trailhead is on Beechwood Lane, and you have to park there and hike down the road for 0.3 miles until you get to Coppermine Rd. At 1.0 mile, the trail joins Coppermine Brook where a side path descends to a cascade. At 2.3 miles you cross the brook on a bridge and quickly hit the Coppermine shelter. Just beyond the shelter is the first viewpoint of Bridal Veil Falls from a lower pool. If you want to get a good photo of the falls like the one shown on this website you need to carefully pick your way up the lefthand side of the falls area. Be careful though the rocks at the upper pool will be slick, but it is worth it to catch the spray off of the falls.
