Loop
The Attleboro Springs Loop begins at the sanctuary entrance behind the La Salette Shrine and forms a quiet loop through forest and wetland terrain. Start on the Reflection Trail and take an early right to pass Brothers Pond. Continue onto the Oak Forest Trail, then rejoin the Reflection Trail briefly before staying right on the Connector Trail. From there, follow Meadow Loop, keeping right again to transition onto Piggery Path and Esker Trail.
After completing the Esker Loop, retrace your steps on Esker Trail, this time staying right onto Vernal Trail. Rejoin the Connector Trail and then turn left to return on the Reflection Trail, passing the Room of Oaks area and a prominent Roxbury puddingstone outcropping before reaching the trailhead. Most of the route is level and easy, with a mix of boardwalks, shaded paths, and seasonal wetland features. Visitors can download an informational pamphlet or audio tour from the Mass Audubon website. This short, family-friendly route offers a peaceful hiking experience year-round just minutes from downtown Attleboro.
