Trail Overview

This trail is a short out-and-back trail that leads from Wyoming Highway 530 east to the shoreline of Flaming Gorge Reservoir. This trail is a well-maintained gravel road that is two vehicles wide throughout, with the only caution being that at the end of the trail, a metal pole has been placed, and while the road may appear to drive straight out onto the shoreline, there is a metal pole that blocks the road from continuing past the small parking area. There are, however, plenty of short spurs leading down onto the lakeshore nearby that branch off of this trail. This trail is open to all vehicles and has no seasonal closure, but may be impassable due to snow during the winter and early spring.
