FS 501 MTN HOME

The trail starts at Mountain Home, where there is a large parking lot to unload if you are riding an ATV or SXS. The trail begins fairly easily and has multiple places for dispersed camping. Multiple large water crossings can be deep in the spring or after a good rain. Parts of the trail cross through private property, so be respectful. This trail gives you access to the 50" trail system at multiple points. Towards the end of the trail, a few large mud holes need to be negotiated. Good ground clearance is a must.
