Trail Overview

Very easy, smooth back road in the Medicine Bow National Forest that takes you deep into the woods with a variety of terrain, mostly through forest. The trail has tight tree sections, open burned areas, and everything in between. It is a one-lane, two-track road, so be mindful of traffic heading the other way. It ends at a circular dirt area that could be a campsite. Dispersed camping is available on this road.

Difficulty

Very smooth and easy dirt road. Seems well maintained and trafficked semi-frequently. Few bumps and dips here and there but nothing most any vehicle would be able to make it over.

Nice easy mosey. Fall colors are starting in the young grown in the burned areas. Didn't drive the full length, the wind was starting to howl though the standing dead timber surrounding the road and I thought it may be a good time to head out of that area.
