Trail Overview

The trail has beautiful views and is an easy entrance to several hiking, mountain biking, and horse trails in the forest. The road is smooth dirt with mud possible during wet seasons. A few areas are steep or may have very minor water on the road after rain. The trail has a significant number of great camping locations all along the length with several that have nice overlook views.

Difficulty

Road is generally smooth with only a few rough or steep spots. High clearance 2WD vehicles are capable, but 4x4 availability would be useful when wet.

Some spots 4WD would be appreciated especially with light rain. As you get closer to the part that connects to the road it smooths out drastically. Pretty good trail.

Nothing difficult or technical on this trail. Some small muddy ruts and a few uphill climbs but can be done in 2wd. Gorgeous views!
