Trail Overview

IB 70 begins off IB 10 as a smooth, mellow trail that's easy for most vehicles. It quickly dips down to cross Ivy Creek, typically a shallow pool of water. From there, the trail narrows and becomes a bit more rugged, with loose rock and deeper ruts as it descends next to a wooded ravine. Drivers will follow a shelf-style path that parallels the ravine, encountering bumps, dips, waterbars, and minor hills. While still rated easy, the trail has a bit more texture and variation than the smoothest routes.
