Trail Overview

DA 81 is a half-mile long trail beginning with a narrow, shelf-style path from the north before dropping into a rutted and technical descent. The descent features deep troughs, off-camber lines, embedded rock layers, and uneven shelves that create a challenging ride down a steep slope. Several large switchbacks follow the descent, followed by loose rock and continued rutting near the bottom. Conditions can become extremely slick and greasy when wet, making this a demanding route suited for experienced riders.
