Trail Overview
West Phantom Bear is a 0.53-mile point-to-point 50-inch-and-under trail in the Foothills ORV system that delivers a fast, flowing ride with numerous wide berms that encourage maintaining momentum through the corners. The trail traverses a mix of forest and exposed hillside, with scattered rock outcrops adding character to the route. Several sections run along the hillside with mild cliff exposure, offering scenic views while requiring riders to stay on line. A Discover Pass is required for recreation and parking within the Foothills ORV system.
Difficulty
West Phantom Bear is rated Easy. The trail is generally smooth and fast, with wide bermed turns and no major obstacles. Riders should be aware of occasional exposed rock and several sidehill sections with mild cliff exposure, but these features are not particularly technical. The route is well suited for most ATV and dirt bike riders looking for an enjoyable, flowing trail.
