West North Boulder Ridge

This is a dirt-based forest road that is 2-track in many sections. The trail is a narrow, one-lane road that does have places to pass. There are minor ruts and washes, but any vehicle type could traverse this trail with no issues. There are ledges with small drop-offs, but the trail is wide enough that you won't slide off. At the end, there is a grassy dispersed camping area with a pre-existing fire ring. From this spot at the end, you will have a nice view of Bulldog Mountain and the surrounding area. This trail used to run point to point, but a severe washout that was never repaired has made this an out-and-back trail. This side of the washout was completed as West North Boulder Ridge, while the other side of the washout is East North Boulder Ridge, and the two trails used to be one. Cell phone service was weak on this trail, and there are no amenities, so travel prepared.
