Trail Overview
This is a loop that has a series of switchbacks that go up and down a hill. There are several options to skip sections, but they can only be entered and exited in a couple of spots. Those are easily seen from the trail. Few challenging areas that will require spotting on larger vehicles if not equipped with sliders. Some tougher ledges with roots and rocks. Relatively easy trail for someone with experience, but can be challenging yet still doable for a beginner. Note that there are no good areas to turn around except on flat areas. The trail is only wide enough for one vehicle. On clear days, you get a beautiful view of the Olympic Mountain range at the top. There are two optional spots at the entrances that would be considered "buggy lines" with large boulders.
Difficulty
Nothing is terribly difficult on this trail with proper line choice; however, an inexperienced driver could feel uneasy in the off-camber areas. Loose gravel is scattered throughout the trail that will cause a vehicle with smaller tires to shift. The up and down hill sections get steep with bigger ledges to climb or descend. 4WD is required, and a 33-inch tire or larger and sliders are recommended.
