Trail Overview

This 3-mile loop is part of the Tahuya State Forest 4X4 trail system. This trail has lots of off-camber sections and areas that stock vehicles will have difficulty passing. There are many short side trails off of this main loop of varying difficulty. This trail becomes more difficult in the spring, late fall, and winter due to mud. This trail is passable by high-clearance 4WD vehicles.

East section was easier. West section requires short wheelbase and we decided to turn back. Very minor scratches from bushes. Had to start from NE section as all southern entry gates were closed. Lots of rock gardens, threading between trees, tight turns and water crossings. Was able go through the east section in stock 24 Tacoma. One friend had a stock Tundra and another had a lifted 3rd gen Taco.
