Trail Overview

Tiger Creek Trail starts south of the small town of Kooskooskie, WA and winds back and forth on dirt and gravel roads through Umatilla National Forest as you climb approx. 3,300ft to an intersection with Jubilee / Kendall-Skyline trail, where Tiger Creek Trail ends. There are excellent forest views along the trail. Since this trail is easily accessible, there was mild traffic, so be mindful as you navigate the blind switchback corners.

Difficulty

You might encounter small washouts and fallen rocks on the trail, but everything we encountered was navigable by smaller AWD vehicles.

Snow begins promptly at 4400 feet as of the night of 4/3/25. Was alone and late at night so I didn’t want to venture too far into the snow without another rig. Was hard packed but not super icy.

Beautiful views, is washboard in sections, but worth going up for a day trip to explore.
