Trail Overview

Kendall Skyline is an 11.4-mile point-to-point single-lane gravel road. The route can be rough in places, with sections of rutting, mud, and narrow segments that make travel more challenging and unsuitable for low-clearance vehicles. Along the way, there are numerous viewpoints and dispersed camping opportunities. Kendall Skyline is open from April 1 to November 30.

Difficulty

Kendall Skyline is best suited for high-clearance vehicles, as sections of rutting, mud, and narrow road width can make travel difficult for low-clearance vehicles. Weather conditions such as rain or snow can significantly increase difficulty, particularly in muddy sections. As with most trails in the area, bringing a chainsaw or equipment to clear fallen trees is recommended.
