Quartz Mountain Trail #948 is a challenging dirt bike route in the Naches Ranger District that rewards experienced drivers with technical hill climbs and spectacular 360-degree views of the Cascades from its 6,293-foot summit.

Difficulty

This is an intermediate route due to frequent steep and loose climbs, moderate rock and root obstacles, and several moderate switchbacks throughout the long, 7-mile route. The southern section of trail is the steepest, with a high concentration of switchbacks. The northern half is more gradual. Riders should expect narrow trail and exposure throughout the route.
