Trail Overview

North Rim Trail #2 connects sections #1 and #3. Like those two trails, this trail has diverse terrain, some challenging obstacles, but is passable by most riders with basic skills. Not recommended for new riders. The trail weaves through thick forest and pops out into a clear-cut with beautiful views. Sections of tech and flow. The trail can get slick when wet. While the trail is a double track, it will get narrow for quads. NOT PASSABLE for QUADS OVER 48". Taller obstacles will be difficult on quads with low clearance. All trails at Capitol Forest are ONLY open for motorized use May 1-November 30. CLOSED ALL OTHER DATES OF THE YEAR. Trails are multi-use and multi-directional. Watch for other recreators coming from the opposite direction.
