Trail Overview

North Lyre is a 0.8-mile point-to-point trail open to vehicles 50 inches wide or less. The trail winds through a dense rainforest on a narrow bench cut into the hillside, creating a secluded ride beneath a thick forest canopy. Riders will encounter several narrow sections, a steep and tight switchback, and stretches where the trail follows the hillside with a drop-off on one side. A Discover Pass is required for recreation and parking within the Sadie Creek ORV Area.

Difficulty

North Lyre is rated Moderate. The trail is generally smooth, but its narrow tread, hillside exposure, and steep switchback require careful line choice and speed control. While the obstacles are not highly technical, riders should be comfortable navigating tight singletrack with limited room for error.
