NF 2419-14 - Mt Ellinor Th Upper

This short offshoot trail from NF 2419 leads to Mt. Ellinor Upper Trailhead. Short as it is, this trail has had some erosion damage that could be challenging for lower-clearance vehicles looking to reach the trailhead. Large rocks have been stacked in some of the deeper sections for easier navigation across. Be aware of the large hole caused by erosion, which may get worse over time. Aside from that damaged section, it is a wide and easy trail, just like NF 2419. The parking lot at the top of the trailhead has restroom facilities. If you can catch the view down the mountain, it is immensely impressive and goes on for miles. The area is unmaintained (closed) in the winter and early spring months.
