Newlands Road is a dusty roads with loose rocks. There are some uphill spots where loose rocks could be a problem, however for the most part it is just a dirt road. There are a few rutted areas that can be easily navigated.

The Feed Station trail is closed. You need to exit via the next gate to the south. We took the last section of Newborn to Wenas Rd after W1100. It wasn't worse than anything else we had encountered earlier.

Access Description

A Washington Discover Pass is required for vehicle access and parking within the Wenas Wildlife Area. Motorized vehicles must remain on designated roads under the Green Dot Road Management System. Seasonal motorized closures are in effect from December 15 through May 1 to protect wintering elk.
