Trail Overview

This trail is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the Wenatchee National Forest. The trail descends down a steep, rutted hill and into a narrow, twisting path with dirt, rocks, and tree roots. Pay attention to the turns around trees and rocks, and be mindful of tire placement to avoid scratches. There may be shallow standing water, usually no more than 8 inches deep and 3 feet wide, which dries out in the summer. The trail ends at a barrier, which should be respected. From there, it's a 500-foot walk to the lake shore where you can enjoy the view. If you've brought a fishing pole, this is the perfect spot to use it. It's a great place for a peaceful lakeside lunch.
